Blondy & Jhune is a space built out of love. I’m proud of what I hope to create… honest conversations, recipes that bring a smile, and lifestyle ideas to make your home comfy cozy.

I was raised in a small town in Texas, surrounded by pastures full of bluebonnets and a creek full of frogs. I loved it. Time seemed slower. Summer days were spent riding our bikes until dark and night swimming with fireflies dancing around us.

Now, residing in Arizona, I am surrounded by the beautiful muted colors of the desert and giant saguaro cacti. Rugged mountains watch over this valley of sunshine and offer hiking trails that soothe the soul. I love it here too.

Blondy and Jhune is a marriage of these two worlds that hold my heart. The name itself is a nod to the winding country road that led to my Texas home. Farmer Johnson and his wife, Blondy Jhune, had lived in the area for decades. From their little farm house, they raised cattle, and gave us nickels and oranges for Halloween. I couldn’t think of a better name to bring that sense of comfort to my soul. 

I want to share that love and warmth with you - a  little nostalgic and always evolving. 

So grab a cup of coffee or glass of wine and stay a while. Let’s celebrate the simple joys of life, but also have real conversations about the seasons we are in - embracing change and finding the confidence to be our true, beautiful selves.
